You might miss an important date, meeting, or birthday but missing it may have caused a drift between relationships.

Regret can be from your personal and family life, business decisions that lead to a different outcome, and just a life, changing its course without you even knowing.

In this sixth episode of Tourism Titans, the topic of regret and how it can affect your personal, business, and relationships in the long run.

How did Andy, Kevin, and Steve handle their regrets?

Takeaways from the show:

“Money cannot buy a better funeral, than goodwill, honesty, and integrity.” – Kevin O’ Neil

“I think about the regrets that I have and look back at things I’ve done. There are only things that I regret most – the things that I didn’t do. Mistakes can be fixed but the things that you don’t do, can’t be fixed. You can’t go back and do it. It’s too late.” – Andy Kurtz

“I’m gonna have to let go of some things that I am used to doing. It’s gonna be a big change but it’s gonna be good though.” – Steve Edwards

“If you are somebody that’s super stressed, adverse, somebody that can’t handle stress, then you shouldn’t be in business because that’s part and partial of it. You’ve gotta thrive on it.”

– Andy Kurtz

STEVE EDWARDS

CEO AT AAMP AGENCY AND VEGAS JEEP TOURS
Love what you do, and you’ll never work a day in your life. I’ve always had that phrase burned into my mind. Over the last 20 years, following a couple failed marriages, the raising of 2 boys, and the successes, failures, and growth of 10 different businesses, I’ve learned a lot. This experience has all been poured into AAMP.

My goal here at AAMP Agency is to become an irrefutable force in Tour Operator, Adventure, and Destination Marketing. It was never enough for me to only build great websites or to create the best social content. I’ve always been fascinated by what drives a customer to make a purchase, and I truly wanted to understand the trials and tribulations of running a tour business. This curiosity led to the creation of Vegas Jeep Tours.

My team and I have learned a lot along the way. Most importantly, we’ve realized that while it’s good to keep the bookings flowing in and the phones ringing, these are only parts of the story. AAMP Agency has become so much more to me than “just another business”. I have found a world that makes me excited to wake up every morning and to do what I do. I know this is supposed to be my bio and not an elevator pitch, but I have drank the Kool-Aid over here. I am truly passionate about our agency, and I believe this passion is reflected in my team and in our efforts.

Outside of work, I love an old fashioned cocktail, am always down to grab some tacos or a burger, and am constantly listening to podcasts. I went to EDC for the first time this year, and it was a life-changing experience. I can’t wait to go back. As for the rest, well, who knows? That’s the best part. I have no idea what’s going to happen in the future, and that makes me pretty excited.
